Thanksgiving Wedding Planned
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas T. Chamberlain of Fort Worth have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Deborah Chamberlain, to James Malcolm (Mack) Price, son of Mrs. Homer Price, of Follett and Perryton, and the late Mr. Price.
The bride-elect's parents announced the engagement at a party in their home in Fort Worth Saturday evening, August 19. Mrs. Price was in Fort Worth to attend the announcement party.
The couple plan a Thanksgiving wedding in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Forth Worth.
Miss Chamberlain graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, where she was a member of Delta Gamma, national social sorority, and Pi Sigma Alpha, national political science honorary fraternity.
Mr. Price graduated from Follett High School. He attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College at College Station and graduated from Texas Technological College in Lubbock. At Texas Tech he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, national social fraternity, Kappa Alpha Mu, national photography honorary fraternity, and Alpha Phi Omega, national service fraternity. He is a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Follett.
Mr. Price is a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and recently completed 4 1/2 years of active duty. He is presently in the active reserves in Lubbock where he has been attending graduate school at Texas Tech.
Mr. Price has been elected to teach American History in Monterrey High School in Lubbock for the coming school term. |
