  Text	The engagement of Miss Matticks and Mr. Brenholts was announced last week, at the bride-elect's home in Newark. Miss Matticks is the daughter of Mrs. Gertrude Matticks and Mr. Brenholts is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Brenholts of Woodland Avenue.

  Provenance note : This newspaper clipping was in the collection of Barbara Chamberlain. Had no identifying markings at all - not the name of the paper or the date. The marriage happened 16 Jun 1910, so the announcement was clearly prior to that, unknown if it was in 1910 or perhaps earlier in 1909. Since the copy mentions Newark as an "other" location, while Woodland Avenue is referred to as local, this would seem to have been published in a Columbus paper rather than a Newark one.
