Handwritten letter from Wilma Nickell to Katie Price
----------------------------------------------------

	Dec 26, 1976
Dear Aunt Katie,
I want you to know your floral arrangement was so lovely. CA was awed by it so I asked that he have it in his home. The pink carnations were so pretty. How Mother would have loved them as you know how she loved flowers. They were in the slumber when we went to view the body. Thank you so very very much for that gift of beauty.
I want to tell you how much you and Uncle Homer have always meant to me from childhood thru adulthood, you were always fine examples of what we could be.
It was such a comfort to have him come when Daddy died. To see him walk with Mother was such a relief. We did not expect anyone to come this time, but of course we wanted you to know Mother was gone. Life will never be the same without her but how good Jesus was to take her so swiftly and sweetly.
She wanted to go to Sunday School but decided she really did not feel like it so called the lady to come pick up a flower she wanted to send. The TV was on & she fell over face in the pillow on the divan. That is the way poor June found her when she took her lunch she promised Mother.
Christmas was sad with her gifts to open but we have precious memories of all those past years of love.
Aunt Katie, thank you so much for your kindness to her when she came to see you this last time. I'm sure it may have been hard for you, but thank you from the bottom of our hearts. June, CA, Leslie and I are so grateful to you. May the Lord bless you always.
Do come see us if you ever feel you can. We would love to have you.
		Love,
		Wilma & family
