      On the death records, her mother is listed as "Eunice Coe" and father is "Ely Bates". Her father was Eli Bates, but we're pretty sure that Eunice Coe was Eli's mother, and Ruth Amanda Hill was actually Clara's mother. A reminder that the folks filling out death certificate information may not be quite correct on all facts.
