    Cause: work accident 
    • Keith Reynolds, 48, of Sunray, was killed about 1:00 p.m. Wednesday when a steam pot at the Shamrock McKee Plant near Sunray exploded.

      Reynolds, labor foreman at the plant, was standing near the 24-inch steam pot when it blew up. He was struck in the chest by fragment of the pot, which is used to melt a sealing compound for sewer tile.
