TMG isn't the only tool I use here on the home computer.
John Cardinal (TMG user extraordinaire) has created programs specifically for TMG users and they are indispensible.
TMG Utility allows me to make some bulk modifications to the database that TMG itself doesn't allow
GenSmarts is another utility that looks at your data and gives you pointers on where to research, what you can look for to find additonal information about folks in your database. It can read TMG data directly as well, so again, none of that lame GEDCOM stuff.
